Anyone familiar with the film Unstoppable with Denzel Washington will know that plot essentially involves a runaway freight train carrying a ridiculous loads at an incredible speed. Unfortunately this is not an appropriate metaphor for our progress of the last several days. Sadly the only characteristics we share with any Denzel Washington film are a complete lack of subtlety and good humour.
Since leaving behind the great cooking and home comforts of Rob’s Aunt Sue’s house in Saturday morning, we have managed to cover around 350km. Unfortunately this has not been achieved through lighting pace, but by spending so much time in the saddle that Germany is now experiencing a
chronic Sudocrem shortage.
Edit: Here is a photo that Sue took, just before we set off from her house.
I’m so glad that the photo is of your faces…
Sounds like you’re having an amazing babe. Your positive attitude is incredible.
Xx
